This property was originally a two bedroom, mid terrace house, situated on a nice quiet residential street, close to the town center. What stood out about this property to us was the size, it's much bigger than the other terraces on the street and although it was a two bedroom house we felt we could convert it into a six bedroom HMO by utilising the large loft space. We stripped the building back to brick, lowered floors and built a dormer at the back of the property under permitted development. We had challenges with party wall agreements and covid delays but in the end this has been one of our best performing properties. We have tenants on long contracts in this property and have had almost no voids since it was launched.
